Tool
Sitemap finder and XML validator Find verified sitemap files from a public page, or fetch an exact sitemap URL, upload XML or paste its contents. Validate a sitemap or sitemap index, see the evidence behind each finding, and review safe corrections before applying them.
This checks the supplied file against the Sitemaps protocol . Listed pages and child sitemaps are not fetched, so a clean file does not prove that its URLs are accessible or indexed. How the audit works

Finder
Find published sitemaps for a site Enter a public page. The finder reads its site's robots.txt, checks declared same-site sitemaps and a bounded set of common sitemap paths, then verifies recognizable sitemap files.
Use a public URL without login, reset, preview, signed or sensitive query values. The submitted page is fetched on the server. Sitemap files are read only within fixed request, size and time limits; pages listed inside them are not fetched.
Load a sitemap Fetch the exact file URL, upload an XML file or paste below. A fetch loads one file; listed URLs and child sitemaps are not requested.
i 5 MiB processing limit per file
The sitemap protocol permits files up to 50 MiB uncompressed, but this browser tool accepts 5 MiB to keep fetching, editing and validation bounded. Split a larger sitemap and list the files in a sitemap index before using this tool.
For pasted or uploaded XML, the optional URL supplies file-location context. Filling it in does not fetch anything.
