Redirect and status code checker
Paste up to 10 URLs and follow each one’s HTTP redirects the way a crawler does: every hop, its status code, and where the chain ends.
How redirects are checked
Chains are followed for up to 10 hops, the default limit Google documents for its crawlers. Each redirect is labelled permanent (301, 308) or temporary (302, 303, 307), because Google uses only a permanent redirect as a signal that the target should be canonical. Meta refresh and JavaScript redirects are not followed; a refresh on the final page is reported. Google’s redirect guidance.
