Fetch the tags from a live page or paste your own to check language codes, URL format and conflicting annotations. Review the evidence and suggested corrections. Choices that depend on your intended language or audience stay yours to make.

This tool does not fetch each alternate to verify return links. A deep audit checks the alternates it can read and leaves the rest unverified. Google can process reciprocal pairs even when the wider language set is incomplete.

Fetch reads the page and drops its annotations into the editor below — including any in the Link header, which are invisible in the page source. Or paste your own and this URL is still used, to resolve relative URLs and to tell you whether the set includes the page itself, which Google requires.
